Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy
Hormones matched to your labs, compounded to your prescription, and monitored by a licensed provider trained through WorldLink Medical.

What is BHRT?
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy uses hormones that are structurally identical to those your body produces naturally — including estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA and thyroid hormones. These are derived from plant sources and compounded to your individual prescription.
Rather than a fixed commercial dose, BHRT is prescribed based on comprehensive lab work and a full symptom evaluation. At Aries Health and Wellness we use BHRT as one part of a regenerative approach: the goal is not only symptom relief but supporting healthy function over the long term.
Our regenerative approach
We believe aging does not have to mean decline. Hormonal health influences how the body maintains lean muscle, supports bone density, regulates mood and sustains energy. By evaluating your hormones properly and addressing what the labs actually show, we aim to support those systems rather than mask individual symptoms — proactive, root-cause care.

BHRT frequently asked questions
Bioidentical means the hormones are molecularly identical to the ones your body naturally produces. They are derived from plant sources (typically soy or yam) and compounded to your individual prescription. This differs structurally from synthetic hormones, which are not identical to human hormones. Both bioidentical and synthetic hormone therapy carry risks that your provider will review with you in the context of your personal and family health history.
If you are experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance — fatigue, weight gain, low libido, brain fog, hot flashes, mood changes or sleep problems — you may be a candidate. Your provider will order comprehensive lab work before your initial consultation and evaluate your symptoms, medical history and risk factors to determine whether BHRT is appropriate for you.
Hormone therapy has been studied for decades and is widely used, but it is not risk-free and it is not appropriate for everyone. Risks depend on your age, your personal and family medical history, which hormones are prescribed, the dose and the route of administration. Compounded hormone preparations are not FDA-approved products and have not undergone the same premarket review as commercially manufactured hormone therapies. Your provider will discuss the known benefits and risks with you before starting treatment and will monitor you with regular lab work and follow-up.
It varies. Some patients report changes within the first few weeks, while finding the right dose commonly takes three to six months. Hormone balancing is an iterative process — your provider will adjust your protocol over time based on your lab results and how you are feeling. Individual results vary and improvement is not guaranteed.
Yes. Each prescription is compounded specifically for you based on your lab results, symptoms and clinical evaluation, rather than dispensed at a fixed commercial strength.
Creams and topical preparations, injections, sublingual medications and oral medications. Your provider will recommend a delivery method based on your clinical needs and your preferences.
Labs are ordered before your initial consultation and then rechecked at intervals — commonly every 8–12 weeks early in treatment, then less frequently once your protocol is stable. Your provider will set a monitoring schedule appropriate to your treatment.
Your initial BHRT consultation is conducted in person at our Palmdale clinic. Follow-up visits may be conducted in person or via telehealth depending on your needs and your provider's recommendation.
Traditional hormone replacement therapy often uses synthetic hormones or hormones derived from animal sources. BHRT uses hormones that are molecularly identical to human hormones. Compounded BHRT is also prepared at an individualized dose rather than limited to standard commercial strengths. Importantly, FDA-approved bioidentical hormone products are also commercially available; your provider will discuss whether an approved product or a compounded preparation is more appropriate for your situation.
Coverage varies by plan. Some lab work may be covered by insurance. Compounded medications and consultations are typically not covered. Contact us to discuss pricing.
